Sunil, I am revisiting this longtime favorite. Mirroring the realities of life, the death of this old tree continues to leave its mark on the verdant surroundings. The size of its trunk alone, as compared to the younger living trees around it, says something more about its past and present longevity. L&F

Great capture Sunil! I see several intriguing figures hidden in these decaying limbs. I used to drive past a tree similar to this one. I kept thinking I would stop one day to take photos, but it blew down in a storm, and I never got the shot I wanted. I am glad you did… L&F

Such a fitting title for the poor tree in this beautiful image!! the tree must have felt very bare and naked in the full bloomed forest. but at the same time, i admire this tree. the tree taught me a lesson, to dare to be different and that it is ok to stand out in the crowd and just be proud of yourself and who you are no matter how you look from the outside! after all, i think this is a wise tree with wisdom. very deep image!!
