I commenced my photography in 1980. It began as a hobby with interest in Fine Art Photography. I have won several National and some International awards. Also, have been instrumental in conducting and organizing numerous workshops and exhibitions. Judged National and International Salons. My prime force of photography is 'Light' and I try to see it first rather than the subjects. I have been a President of R. A. Acharya Memorial Photographic Club, Mumbai, India and The Photographic Society of Pune, India. I have written articles on photography in some leading local photography magazines. Wow, what an amazing eye you have to discern the beauty of design in this humble scene, and convey through it such insight into everyday life in a part of the world many of us know little about. Out here in the American West, buffalo chips and cowpies were (and still are sometimes!) used for campfires, especially out on the great prairies where wood or brush were almost nonexistent.
